Local Anniversary Day. Day Employees (a) When a day employee’s rostered day off falls on the same day as any one of the above Public Holidays, the employee shall be paid for the day at relevant daily pay as per the Holidays Act 2003. (b) When a day employee is required to work on a Public Holiday they will be paid at the Overtime Rate and shall be entitled to a whole working day as an Alternative Holiday (day in lieu) regardless of the amount of time worked on the Public Holiday, paid at relevant daily pay as per the Holidays Act 2003. The Alternative Holiday shall be taken on a mutually agreed day.
