Dismissals. 4.1 Details of all dismissals/resignations within the last 12 months including reasons for the dismissal/resignation.

Dismissals. A dismissed employee is one whose service is terminated for any reason other than transfer, resignation, lay-off (or work completed for temporary or term employees), voluntary retirement or death. 5 In the event the Company warns, demotes, suspends, or dismisses any employee, the Union may appeal such action pursuant to the provisions of Article 9 (Grievance Procedure) of this Agreement.

Dismissals a. Evidence in a hearing on teacher termination or contract non- renewal shall not be limited to teacher evaluation reports.
b. In the event that it is determined through the evaluation proce- dure that a teacher’s professional performance is less than satisfac- tory, that teacher shall be so informed. Should the specified defi- ciencies be so serious as to have a possible effect on the teacher’s continued employment, the teacher shall be so informed and may be given a probationary period to effect remedial action.
c. The building principal and/or Superintendent shall work with the teacher during the probationary period, through periodic visits and conferences to assist the teacher with remedial activities. Appr- opriate remedial activities may include, but shall not be limited to, professional improvement days to observe another teacher, and observation and assistance of the teacher in his/her classroom.
d. Should the teacher’s final evaluation of the deficient areas reveal that sufficient improvement has been made, the teacher shall be removed from probation.
e. Should the evaluation reveal that insufficient progress has been made on the part of the probationary teacher, the Board may term- inate the teacher’s contract pursuant to K.S.A. 72-5411.
Dismissals. Grievances related to dismissal shall be referred directly to full arbitration, which will be an expeditious process. The process for a full arbitration will be followed, except that the selected arbitrator must be available to hear the grievance within thirty

Dismissals. 27:01 Except when dismissed for cause, when a permanent employee of the Fire Department is relieved of his position, he shall be given thirty (30) days' notice, or in lieu thereof, one
(1) month's pay.
27:02 Any employee who has been wrongfully dismissed or suspended by the Corporation and who is later reinstated shall be compensated in full for all time lost, less any earnings he may have made through other employment during the period of such dismissal or suspension. Upon notification in writing of suspension or dismissal, any employee desiring to appeal his dismissal or suspension must do so to the Employer, a notice of appeal must be made within five (5) days of such notice of dismissal or suspension.
27:03 Where an employee leaves the Fire Department or is dismissed for cause and later re-engaged, his seniority shall date from the time of his re-engagement.

Dismissals. 20.1 Dismissal of an employee shall be for just and sufficient cause and it is agreed that dismissal may be subject to the grievance procedure. An employee dismissed for just and sufficient cause (except for gross misconduct) shall be entitled to two (2) weeks' notice or in lieu of such notice, shall be given two (2) weeks' pay plus accrued vacation pay and any severance pay earned under Article 51.
