Loss of Jobs. In the event of any technological change that results in the permanent displacement of one or more employees in the bargaining unit, the Employer agrees to discuss such proposed changes prior to their going into effect. Employees to be displaced will be given first opportunity to bid for any new jobs before persons outside the bargaining unit are hired to fill such jobs.
