Loss of Travel Documents. If within the Operative Time an Insured Person sustains theft or loss of or damage to Travel Documents during an Insured Journey or during a period of one hundred and twenty hours either immediately preceding the commencement of an Insured Journey or immediately following its completion the Company shall indemnify the Insured for the benefit of the Insured Person for any reasonable additional costs for travel accommodation and other associated costs necessarily incurred to enable the Insured Person to obtain essential replacement Travel Documents up to the Sum Insured per Insured Journey shown in the Business Travel Specification.

Loss of Travel Documents. In case of loss of the Covered Person 's passport, driving license, national identity card while abroad, the Assistance Company will take charge of the expenses of the replacements necessary for obtaining a new passport driving license, national identity card or equivalent consular document. We will not pay for any of the following. 1. Personal belongings or personal baggage which You have left unattended. 2. Cracking, scratching or breaking of glass (except for lenses in cameras, binoculars, telescopes or spectacles) china or similar fragile articles. 3. Loss damage or theft or attempted theft of mobile phones or smart phones and accessories and/or equipment. 12. Loss of Valuables, Personal Money or Passport left unattended or from personal baggage while it is being transported by air and is outside Your control. 13. Loss of Travel Documents. If your passport or visa is lost, stolen or destroyed while you are on your trip, we will reimburse you, up to the maximum benefit listed for Loss of Travel Documents in your Benefits Summary for the following: i. The cost of your necessary extra travel and accommodation expenses as well as administration costs for the issuing of the emergency passport and/or visa you need to continue your trip or return to your primary residence; and ii. The equivalent cost (based on the current standard replacement costs) of the period remaining on The following conditions apply: a. have taken necessary steps to keep your passport and/or visa safe and to recover it, where possible; b. file and retain a copy of a police report in the case of theft; c. have filed and retained a copy of a loss report from the consulate or embassy you reported it to; and d. provide receipts for all expenses, including from the consulate or embassy confirming the cost of the replacement or emergency passport or visa. 1.
