Lump Sum Increases. If a bargaining unit employee’s merit increase causes the bargaining unit employee’s wage to exceed the high range of the employee’s job classification, then the employee will receive the amount of increase which exceeds the high range in a lump sum amount.

Lump Sum Increases. All continuing full-time faculty shall receive a flat increase of five hundred ($500) dollars effective September 1 of the first year of this Collective Bargaining Agreement, a second flat increase of five hundred ($500) dollars effective September 1, 2012 and a third flat increase of five hundred ($500) dollars effective September 1, 2014. These amounts shall be added to base salary after the above across-the-board increases.
Lump Sum Increases. If an employee’s merit increase would cause the employee’s wage to exceed 20% of the high range of the TMR for the employee’s job classification, then the employee will receive the amount of the increase which exceeds the high range in a lump sum amount or the yearly merit increase at the discretion of the employee’s Regional Service Manager.

  • Step Increases No increase in salary shall be automatic merely upon completion of a specified period of service. All increases shall be based on merit as established by the record of the employee's performance and shall require recommendation of the Department Head. If the City Manager at any time determines that it is in the City's interest, he may assign an employee to a higher rate within the salary range fixed for the classification. The City Manager shall regulate the accelerated advancement through the salary range steps. Subject to the provisions of this Section 12.3, an employee shall receive increases in salary according to the following plan:

  • Merit Increases (a) Subject to documented assessment and performance review undertaken pursuant to the Performance Management System, an employee on anniversary date may be granted an increase of up to five pay increments in the pay scale, not to exceed the control point maximum.
