Common use of Lunch Periods and Rest Periods Clause in Contracts

Lunch Periods and Rest Periods. Employees will be entitled to an unpaid lunch period of a minimum of thirty (30) minutes and a maximum of sixty (60) minutes during each work day that is greater than five (5) hours in duration. Lunch periods will be as approved by the Employer. Employees will be entitled to one (1) fifteen (15) minute paid rest period in each work day where they are scheduled to work at least four (4) hours. Employees will be entitled to two (2) fifteen (15) minute rest periods in each work day where they are scheduled to work seven (7) hours. Rest periods will be as approved by the Employer.
