Common use of Maximum Accrual Clause in Contracts

Maximum Accrual. The maximum accrual of vacation leave for any employee shall be three hundred sixty (360) hours. The Board of Commissioners may authorize individual exemptions to this limitation; however, if an employee leaves the employer’s service, the employee may be reimbursed for not more than three hundred sixty (360) hours.

The Board of Commissioners may authorize individual exemptions to this limitation; however. When an employee’s accrual exceeds three hundred eighty (380) hours, if the employee must use the excess time (over three hundred eighty (380) hours) within ninety (90) days, at the mutual convenience of the County and the employee. When an employee leaves the employer’s service, the employee may be reimbursed paid for not more than three hundred sixty eighty (360380) hours.
