MEAL AND TEA BREAKS. The shift periods shall incorporate one paid 30 minute meal break (which shall be counted as time worked) and one unpaid 30 minute meal break. The first break shall be taken within 6 hours of commencing duty unless this is delayed by agreement to meet patient needs.
