Common use of Medical Leave Clause in Contracts

Medical Leave. (1) A staff with at least 3 months of service shall be entitled to paid medical leave in the aggregate of 14 working days in one calendar year if no hospitalisation is necessary, or in the aggregate of 60 working days in one calendar year if hospitalisation is needed, provided that such medical leave is based on the recommendation of any medical practitioner registered with the Singapore Medical Council. (2) Medical certificates issued by any registered dentist shall be recognised as medical leave.
