Medical Staff Membership. No provision of this Agreement shall be construed in any manner as an assurance of or guarantee of initial appointment to Medical Staff Membership during or at termination of training.
Medical Staff Membership. A. The parties recognize the provisions of Health and Safety Code Section 1316.5 as contained in Appendix A of the Agreement.
B. Each appointing authority employing Psychologists shall provide to the union annually a copy of the medical staff by-laws in effect at each health facility.
C. The provisions of this section and Appendix A shall not be grievable or arbitrable. 106 BU 19 (01-03)
Medical Staff Membership. Group shall ensure that each Group Practitioner providing Coverage Services is a member in good standing in the “active staff” category of Hospital’s medical staff (the “Medical Staff”), and maintains all clinical privileges necessary to practice medicine in the Specialty at Hospital. If a Group Practitioner is not a member in good standing in the “active staff” category of the Medical Staff, or has not obtained all clinical privileges necessary to practice medicine in the Specialty at Hospital, as of the date such Group Practitioner begins providing Coverage Services, such Group Practitioner shall have a reasonable amount of time to obtain such membership and/or clinical privileges, provided that such Group Practitioner diligently pursues such membership and/or clinical privileges and exercises his or her best efforts to complete this process in accordance with the normal procedures set forth in the Hospital Rules. Any Group Practitioner may also obtain and maintain medical staff membership and clinical privileges at any other hospital or health care facility. Group shall ensure that each Group Practitioner actively participates in the Medical Staff department or section encompassing the Specialty and on all Medical Staff committees to which such Group Practitioner may be appointed by the Medical Staff from time to time.
Medical Staff Membership. The presence of Resident(s) from ARMC at Receiving Site is based upon their continued participation in ARMC’s Residency Training Program. As such, it is understood and agreed that Resident(s) assigned to Receiving Site shall not be granted medical staff membership or privileges at Receiving Site during their rotation as part of their educational requirement in the Residency Training Program.
Medical Staff Membership. Xxxxxxx has, and during the term hereof shall maintain, appropriate medical staff membership and clinic privileges, as requested by AWT in its sole discretion, at SJRMC located in Hot Springs, Arkansas;
Medical Staff Membership. The Parties acknowledge and agree that Ochsner Physician shall be required to comply with Section 5.2 of the ACCA to obtain Medical Staff Membership with Hospital Facility Privileges and/or Medical Staff Membership with Ambulatory Facility Privileges.
Medical Staff Membership. (a) Managing Physician shall as of the effective date hereof be, and throughout the term hereof remain, a member in good standing of the Active Medical Staff of ________ Hospital or its successor with all clinical privileges and appointments appropriate and necessary to the performance of his clinical duties hereunder.
(b) Managing Physician represents and warrants that to his knowledge there are currently no investigations or proceedings pending, nor threatened, the basis of which implicates the professional competence of Managing Physician, that could lead to a suspension, revocation, restriction, limitation, or other termination of his medical staff privileges at any hospital, including his primary Hospital affiliation.
Medical Staff Membership. Physician shall have and maintain during the term of this Agreement a permanent license to practice medicine in Michigan. As a condition prerequisite to employment under this Agreement, Physician shall have and maintain during the term of this Agreement medical staff membership and clinical privileges at (Your Hospital), and shall act at all times in a professional manner consistent with the standards of this institution. Physician shall not have any right to medical staff membership or clinical privileges solely by virtue of rendering services pursuant to this Agreement. The clinical privileges obtained at Employer facilities must enable Physician to provide Medical Services. Physician may establish and maintain medical staff membership and/or clinical privileges on the medical staff of another hospital or health care facility only upon the written consent of Employer, but will apply, seek, and obtain privileges at another hospital if Employer so requests, in writing. Notwithstanding the foregoing or any other provision of this Agreement, this Agreement does not afford Physician any rights under the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Hospital, and no termination or other action pursuant to this Agreement shall give rise to any rights to any hearing or appeal under the Bylaws of the Medical Staff of (Your Hospital). Should Physician fail to obtain or cease to be a member of the medical staff or cease to have clinical privileges to perform Medical Services for any reason, then, effective as of the date Physician fails to obtain or ceases to be a member of the medical staff, or ceases to have clinical privileges Employer may immediately terminate this Agreement. If Physician’s membership or clinical privileges on the medical staff are restricted or made subject to supervision in accordance with the applicable medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations or comparable rules, regulations or policies applicable to the practice of physicians, Physician may continue to render services under this Agreement only in accordance with such restriction or supervision as approved by Employer. If Employer determines, in its sole discretion, that imposition of such restriction or supervision of Physician’s privileges unreasonably interferes with the performance of Physician’s duties under this Agreement, Employer may terminate this Agreement, effective immediately.
Medical Staff Membership. Once the receiving Institution has accepted the transfer, if the attending physician responsible for determining the medical need for transfer is not a member of the receiving Institution’s medical staff with admitting privileges, that physician shall arrange for transfer of responsibility for the care of the patient to a member of receiving Institution’s medical staff for the period of hospitalization, or the non-member physician must apply for and obtain appropriate clinical privileges to admit and attend the patient during hospitalization.
Medical Staff Membership. The presence of Resident(s) and/or Fellow(s) from LLIECHE at AFFILIATE is based solely upon their continued participation in LLIECHE Residency Training Program. As such, it is understood and agreed that LLIECHE Resident(s) and/or Fellow(s) assigned to AFFILIATE shall not be granted Medical Staff membership or privileges at AFFILIATE during their participation in LLIECHE Residency Training Program.
