STAFF COMMITTEES. 1. The Board and the Association encourage each school to develop a staff committee or other appropriate organization to ensure effective consultation between teachers and principals before educational decisions affecting the school are made. 2. The size, membership, and quorum of the staff committee shall be determined by the staff. Staff committees shall meet as necessary with the principal to discuss issues relevant to the teaching staff. 3. This provision is not subject to the process of arbitration as contained in Article A.6 (Grievance Procedure).

STAFF COMMITTEES. 29.1 If the majority of the teaching staff in the school so decides, there shall be established a recognized staff committee in each school by September 30th of each school year. 29.2 The professional staff in each school shall determine the size and membership of such a staff committee and the procedures to be followed. In all schools, the staff may decide to act as a committee of the whole. 29.3 The Staff Committee may make recommendations on matters pertaining to the effective and efficient operation of the school. 29.4 Recommendations made by the Staff Committee shall be considered by the staff at a regular staff meeting. Recommendations made by the Staff Committee, accepted at the staff meeting and implemented by the school administration shall be binding on all members of the staff. 29.5 Should the school administration not implement the recommendations, reasons for not doing so shall be provided to a Staff Committee meeting, and if requested by the Staff Committee, at a regular staff meeting.
STAFF COMMITTEES. 1. Each school shall be entitled to develop a recognized school staff committee to xxxxxx communication and collegiality among teachers and administrative officers. 2. The committee may study and make recommendations to the staff and the Administrative Officer(s) on any matters of educational concern. In order to do so the committee shall have access, and the opportunity to review, reasonable and relevant information including school level budgets and financial information. Should a written recommendation of the staff committee not be implemented the Administrative Officer shall, if requested, give written reasons. 3. Failure to implement a recommendation of the committee is not subject to the grievance procedure.

The school administrator or designate shall be a member of the committee. 2. The staff committee can make recommendations to the school administration on any matters of concern to staff members. The size and membership of a CCTA School Staff Committee shall be determined by the staff of the school and may include the Administrative Officer. The CCTA School Staff Committee shall have access to that school’s school-level monthly expenditure reports. CCTA School Staff Committee recommendations to the Administrative Officer shall be given consideration.

STAFF COMMITTEES. The central parties agree to establish Regional Planning Committees to facilitate the redeployment of laid off employees among the participating Hospitals. To achieve this objective the Hospital forward to Regional Staff Planning Committee a list of the and addresses of laid employees who have expressed an interest in working at other participating and who have assessment procedures provided by any government training agency, such as that may be in place. In vacancies not by bargaining unit members the Hospitals are encouraged to give first consideration to laid off employees who are on the list and who are to the work. For benefit-entitlement purposes, it is recognized that hospitals shall be to grant to any employees hired through this process credit for service with another hospital. The size, structure, composition and activities of each Committee will be mutually determined by the parties, and application will be made to any available finding source for the of administrative expenses.
