Meetings and Facilities. The use of conference rooms at Patrol posts and/or the Academy by the Union for meetings for off-duty bargaining unit employees shall be permitted. Requests for the use of facilities must be in writing and submitted at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance to the facility administrator. The facility administrator or his/her designee may disapprove the use of the requested facility if it would disrupt the normal routine of business and/or prior commitments which have been approved. The meetings shall not disrupt the duties of the employees or the efficient and effective operations of the Patrol Posts or Academy. The Union will be responsible for the condition of the facilities during the time of usage and will be required to restore it to an acceptable condition upon completion of the meeting.

Meetings and Facilities. The Council will allow appropriate meetings of the Union members and employee representatives to take place on Council premises, normally in working hours. The individual line manager must be made aware of these meetings in advance wherever possible to allow that the service can be planned and the impact of absence is limited. Where it is necessary for the Union/elected employee representatives to hold meetings with staff during working hours, they should try to agree the arrangements with management at the earliest opportunity, and ensure that this does not adversely impact on service delivery. Union or employee representatives will not suffer a reduction in their basic salary arising from approved meetings with members and other representatives or meetings with management. The Council recognises that the Union secretary or a representative appointed by the executive committee may be released to attend the annual conference. Meetings between the Council management and the Union and employee representatives will normally take place within working hours. These will include: Monthly New Staff Side meetings Specific consultation meeting on an “as needed” basis at the request of the New Staff Side or Management. Formal Meetings at the request of the employee or management Planned meetings for specific project groups formed to address specific issues.

  • Equipment Testing and Inspection 2.1.1 The Interconnection Customer shall test and inspect its Small Generating Facility and Interconnection Facilities prior to interconnection. The Interconnection Customer shall notify the NYISO and the Connecting Transmission Owner of such activities no fewer than five Business Days (or as may be agreed to by the Parties) prior to such testing and inspection. Testing and inspection shall occur on a Business Day. The Connecting Transmission Owner may, at its own expense, send qualified personnel to the Small Generating Facility site to inspect the interconnection and observe the testing. The Interconnection Customer shall provide the NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner a written test report when such testing and inspection is completed. The Small Generating Facility may not commence parallel operations if the NYISO, in consultation with the Connecting Transmission Owner, finds that the Small Generating Facility has not been installed as agreed upon or may not be operated in a safe and reliable manner.
