Mental Health Assessments. 23. By 12 months from the Effective Date hereof, CVH shall ensure that, consistent with generally accepted professional standards of care, each individual shall receive, promptly after admission to CVH, an assessment of the conditions responsible for the individual’s admission, and provide that it is accurate and complete to the degree possible given the available information at the time of admission. To the degree possible given the available information, the individual’s interdisciplinary team shall be responsible for investigating the past and present medical, nursing, psychiatric, substance abuse and psychosocial factors bearing on the patient’s condition, and, when necessary, for revising assessments and treatment plans in accordance with new information that comes to light. Thereafter, each individual shall receive a reassessment whenever there has been a significant change in the individual’s status, a lack of expected improvement resulting from treatment clinically indicated, or twelve months since the previous reassessment.
Mental Health Assessments. Defendant shall adopt and fully implement new policies, procedures, and training curricula to ensure the following: a. A Qualified Mental Health Professional or a member of the Qualified Mental Health Staff who is appropriately supervised by a Qualified Mental Health Professional shall conduct appropriate mental health assessments within the following time periods from the initial screen or other identification of need: (1) 10 days, or sooner if medically necessary, for prisoners with routine mental health needs;
Mental Health Assessments. The State will ensure that all children admitted to Xxxxxx receive a comprehensive assessment by a Qualified Mental Health Professional in a timely manner utilizing reliable approaches. Assessments will include adequate collection of and consideration of relevant information from interviews and reasonably available records, including: a. Physical observations; b. Past history of mental health diagnoses and treatment (both inpatient and outpatient), including medication; c. Developmental, educational, family, and social history; d. Ethnocultural background and history and significant events in the child’s life (for example, multi-generational trauma, parents who are immigrants, incarceration history of parents); e. Intellectual functioning (e.g., intellectual disability, developmental disability, learning disability) and follow-up testing, when indicated; f. Adverse childhood experiences, including victimization or other trauma and the impact that traumatic events and experiences may have had on the child’s mental health and may have on his functioning in the correctional setting; g. Evidence of psychosocial stressors (e.g., significant loss such as the death of a family member or close friend); h. Evidence of prior drug and alcohol use and abuse and the relationship to the child’s mental health; i. Past suicidal ideation or attempts; j. Current suicidal ideation, threat, or plan; and k. Emotional response to the child’s criminal charges and/or incarceration.

  • Mental Health The parties recognize the importance of supporting and promoting a psychologically healthy workplace and as such will adhere to all applicable statutes, policy, guidelines and regulations pertaining to the promotion of mental health.

  • Mental Health Services This agreement covers medically necessary services for the treatment of mental health disorders in a general or specialty hospital or outpatient facilities that are: • reviewed and approved by us; and • licensed under the laws of the State of Rhode Island or by the state in which the facility is located as a general or specialty hospital or outpatient facility. We review network and non-network programs, hospitals and inpatient facilities, and the specific services provided to decide whether a preauthorization, hospital or inpatient facility, or specific services rendered meets our program requirements, content and criteria. If our program content and criteria are not met, the services are not covered under this agreement. Our program content and criteria are defined below.

  • Ergonomic Assessments ‌ At the request of the employee, the Employer will ensure that an ergonomic assessment of the employee’s workstation is completed. Solutions to identified issues will be implemented within available resources.

  • Environmental Assessments Foreclose on or take a deed or title to any commercial real estate without first conducting a Phase I environmental assessment of the property or foreclose on any commercial real estate if such environmental assessment indicates the presence of a Hazardous Substance in amounts which, if such foreclosure were to occur, would be material.

  • Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union recognize the role of the joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee in promoting a safe and healthful workplace. The parties agree that a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee shall be established for each Employer covered by this Collective Agreement. The Committee shall govern itself in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Health and Safety Regulations made pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act. The Committee shall be as between the Employer and the Union, with equal representation, and with each party appointing its own representatives. Representatives of the Union shall be chosen by the Union membership or appointed by the Union. All minutes of the meetings of the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee will be recorded in a mutually agreeable format and will be sent to the Union. The Union further agrees to actively pursue with the other Health Care Unions a Joint Union Committee for the purposes of this Article. The Employer agrees to provide or cause to be provided to Employer members of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee adequate training and orientation to the duties and responsibilities of committee members to allow the incumbents to fulfil those duties competently. The Union agrees to provide or cause to be provided to Union members of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee adequate training and orientation to the duties and responsibilities of committee members to allow the incumbents to fulfil those duties competently. Such training and orientation shall take place within six (6) months of taking office.

  • Assessments To Borrower’s knowledge, there are no pending or proposed special or other assessments for public improvements or otherwise affecting the Property, nor are there any contemplated improvements to the Property that may result in such special or other assessments.

  • Risk Assessments a. Risk Assessment - DST shall, at least annually, perform risk assessments that are designed to identify material threats (both internal and external) against Fund Data, the likelihood of those threats Schedule 10.2 p.2 occurring and the impact of those threats upon DST organization to evaluate and analyze the appropriate level of information security safeguards (“Risk Assessments”). b. Risk Mitigation - DST shall use commercially reasonable efforts to manage, control and remediate threats identified in the Risk Assessments that it believes are likely to result in material unauthorized access, copying, use, processing, disclosure, alteration, transfer, loss or destruction of Fund Data, consistent with the Objective, and commensurate with the sensitivity of the Fund Data and the complexity and scope of the activities of DST pursuant to the Agreement. c. Security Controls Testing - DST shall, on approximately an annual basis, engage an independent external party to conduct a review (including information security) of DST’s systems that are related to the provision of services. DST shall have a process to review and evaluate high risk findings resulting from this testing.

  • Health Examination The University will provide to each member of the bargaining unit a physical examination at the time of employment. Thereafter, an examination will be provided if required by the appropriate accrediting authority, by the University, or by Statute. Employees returning from medical or disability leave must present a note from the treating physician which indicates the date the employee was able to return to duty and certifying the employee's fitness to return to work full duty. The University may, at its own cost and expense, have a physician of its choosing perform a physical examination of the employee to ensure fitness and capability to return to work.

  • Health Examinations The Employer shall provide at no cost to the employee, such medical tests, health examinations and surveillance/monitoring as may be required as a condition of employment and/or as a result of regulated hazards encountered after employment.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Committee ‌ (a) The parties agree that a joint occupational health and safety committee will be established. The Committee shall govern itself in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations made pursuant to the Workers Compensation Act. The Committee shall be between the Employer and the Union, with equal representation, and with each party appointing its own representatives. The Union agrees to actively pursue with the other Health Care unions, where more than one union is certified with the Employer, a joint union/employer committee for the purposes of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. (b) Employees who are members of the Committee shall be granted leave without loss of pay or receive straight-time regular wages while attending meetings of the Joint Committee. Employees who are members of the Committee shall be granted leave without loss of pay or receive straight-time regular wages to participate in joint workplace inspections and joint accident investigations at the request of the Committee pursuant to the WCB Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. Committee meetings, workplace inspections and accident investigations shall be scheduled during normal working hours whenever practicable. (c) The Occupational Health and Safety Committee shall have as part of its mandate the jurisdiction to receive complaints or concerns regarding workload problems which are safety-related, the right to investigate such complaints, the right to define the problem and the right to make recommendations for a solution. Where the Committee determines that a safety-related workload problem exists, it shall inform the Employer. Within 21 days thereafter, the Employer shall advise the Committee what steps it has taken or proposes to take to rectify the safety-related workload problem identified by the Committee. If the Union is not satisfied with the Employer's response, it may refer the matter to the Industry Trouble shooter for a written recommendation. (d) No employee shall be disciplined for refusal to work when excused by the provisions of the
