Common use of Minimum Pay Clause in Contracts

Minimum Pay. 9.3.a. Employees who work less than four (4) hours shall be paid for four (4) hours and if worked more than four (4) hours shall receive pay for the actual time worked. 9.3.b. If an employee leaves or quits of his/her own volition, the employee shall be paid for actual time worked at applicable straight and overtime rates. If a new hire is put to work and judged by the Contractor to be unsatisfactory, the new hire shall be paid only for the actual time worked.
