National Board Certification Reimbursement and One-Time Stipend. Any Certificated Employee who obtains National Board certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards will be reimbursed for the direct costs of obtaining said certification, once complete. In addition, nationally certified employees will be granted a one- time $5,000 stipend. The Board agrees to reimburse the direct costs of renewing National Board Certification. Any interested teacher must submit a letter of interest to the Superintendent by September 1st. Each school year a cap of six applicants will be approved to participate in this opportunity.
