Dual Credit Stipend. The Employer will pay a yearly stipend in the amount of Five Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($500.00) to a teacher (appropriately certified or otherwise qualified) who is assigned to provide instruction for at least one (1) Dual Credit class. In order to increase the number of teachers who are appropriately certified to teach Dual Credit classes, the Superintendent may also designate a reasonable number of teachers who are not currently assigned to teach a Dual Credit classs to receive this stipend. Any Teacher who receives this stipend but who is not fully credentialed with Higher Learning Commission to teach a Dual Credit course must provide the Employer with proof of progress toward the completion of the required graduate course of study on a yearly basis. The parties have agreed that the completion of at least three (3) credit hours per school year in the applicable graduate course of study shall constitute sufficient proof of progress. This stipend was bargained outside of the compensation plan in accordance with leagal guidance and decisions issues by the Indiana Education Employment Relations Board.
Dual Credit Stipend. A teacher who offers one or more Advanced Placement (AP) course or courses articulated with either Klamath Community College or the Oregon Institute of Technology and has students that take the AP exam or receive college credit will receive a stipend of $300 at the end of the year for each specific college course offered. Courses articulated must be 100 level or above. College articulations below the 100 level are not eligible for the stipend unless approved by the Secondary Curriculum Director as part of a district goal or program. Teachers required to attend meetings after hours to facilitate dual credit courses shall be compensated at their regular rate of pay up to five (5) hours. A teacher who is directed to articulate a course for dual credit or AP course and who has not articulated that course in the past will receive an additional $500 the first year the course is taught. Courses articulated with colleges other than KCC or OIT will not receive a stipend unless all of the following are true: • Articulation with KCC or OIT is not availableThe college course is readily transferrable to other Oregon colleges • The course has clear value for the students’ future plans • The stipend is approved by the secondary curriculum director For clarity, a teacher who provides students the opportunity to earn WR 121 and SP 111 credit would receive $600 (2 x $300) as long as students received credit in each of those college courses. Teachers’ offering the same college course in multiple periods do not receive multiple stipends.

  • Total Credit Award GO-Biz, upon approval by the Committee and conditioned upon the requirements set forth in this Agreement, will award Taxpayer a California Competes Tax Credit ("CCTC") in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) (“Credit”). Specifically, Taxpayer is receiving a CCTC against the “net tax” as defined in RTC section 17039, or the “tax” as defined in RTC section 23036, as applicable, pursuant to RTC section 17059.2 or 23689, as applicable.

  • Provisional Credit You acknowledge that the Rules make provisional any credit given for an entry until the financial institution crediting the account specified in the entry receives final settlement. If the financial institution does not receive final settlement, it is entitled to a refund from the credited party and the originator of the entry shall not be deemed to have paid the party.

  • Wrongful credit Notwithstanding any statements of account or notices sent by us to you, we have the right, in our reasonable discretion, to reverse any entry, demand refund of and/or debit your card account in respect of any overpayment or wrongful credit into your card account.

  • Free Credit Balances Your selection of a sweep program above will not be effected until your Account paperwork has been accepted by LPL as being in good order. Until such time, available cash balances (from securities transactions, dividend and interest payments, deposits and other activities) will not be automatically swept and will be held as a free credit balance. A free credit balance is a liability of LPL and payable to the Account on demand. Interest will not be paid to the Account on free credit balances. Unless we hear from you to the contrary, it is our understanding that any free credit balances held in your Account are pending investment. Free credit balances may be used by LPL in the ordinary course of its business subject to the requirements of Rule 15c3-3 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The use of customer free credit balances generally generates revenue for LPL in the forms of interest and income, which LPL retains as additional compensation for its services to its clients. Under these arrangements, LPL will generally earn interest or a return based on short-term market interest rated prevailing at the time. If you are acting on behalf of a Plan, the Responsible Plan Fiduciary agrees that it has independently determined that holding cash balances, pending LPL’s acceptance of the Account, as a free credit balance, which does not earn income for the Plan, is both (i) reasonable and in the best interests of the Plan and (ii) that the Plan receives no less, nor pays no more, than adequate consideration with respect to this arrangement. If the Responsible Plan Fiduciary chooses to avoid holding un-invested cash as a free credit balances, the Plan should not fund the Account until after the Account paperwork has been accepted by LPL as being in good order.

  • Vacation Credit Any outstanding vacation entitlement for a person going on LTD will be paid in cash upon expiry of sick leave. The cash payment will be calculated on the base earnings at the expiration of sick leave for the prorated days of vacation entitlement, any outstanding lieu days, any outstanding floating statutory holidays, and banked time for 40-hour per week employees. No vacation entitlement, floating holidays, or banked time for 40-hour per week employees accrues while a member is in receipt of LTD benefits.

  • Non-Credit Courses In all cases, no tuition remission shall be made for courses not carrying academic credit, with the exception of nursery school. Individuals may take noncredit courses for one- half of the normal course fee, but no person will be allowed to take two or more such courses simultaneously at this rate. Registration will be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis with no more than twenty percent of the total available places being held for this purpose. A course not being closed on the first day of class may have additional individuals admitted at one-half of the normal course fee.

  • Credit Balance We will make a good faith effort to return to you any credit balance that has been on your Account longer than six consecutive Billing Cycles (or, at our discretion, for a shorter time period). You may also request a refund of a credit balance on your Account at any time. We may reduce the amount of any credit balance on your Account by applying the credit balance towards new fees and charges posted to your Account. We do not pay any interest on credit balances.

  • Credit Limit 1. The Allocation Platform shall calculate and continuously update the Credit Limit of each Registered Participant in respect of each subsequent Auction. The Credit Limit shall be equal to the amount of the collaterals in place minus any outstanding payment obligations. In case of a Bank Guarantee such Bank Guarantee shall be only considered if the requirements in Article 20 related to its validity for the respective Auction are fulfilled. The Allocation Platform shall make this information available to each Registered Participant individually through the Auction Tool.

  • Letter of Credit Fees The Borrower shall pay to the Administrative Agent for the account of each Revolving Credit Lender in accordance, subject to Section 2.16 with its Applicable Revolving Credit Percentage a Letter of Credit fee (the “Letter of Credit Fee”) for each Letter of Credit equal to the Applicable Rate times the daily amount available to be drawn under such Letter of Credit. For purposes of computing the daily amount available to be drawn under any Letter of Credit, the amount of such Letter of Credit shall be determined in accordance with Section 1.06. Letter of Credit Fees shall be (i) due and payable on the first Business Day after the end of each March, June, September and December, commencing with the first such date to occur after the issuance of such Letter of Credit, on the Letter of Credit Expiration Date and thereafter on demand and (ii) computed on a quarterly basis in arrears. If there is any change in the Applicable Rate during any quarter, the daily amount available to be drawn under each Letter of Credit shall be computed and multiplied by the Applicable Rate separately for each period during such quarter that such Applicable Rate was in effect. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, upon the request of the Required Revolving Lenders, while any Event of Default exists, all past due Letter of Credit Fees shall accrue at the Default Rate.

  • Credit Balances No interest or other amount will be paid by the Custodian on any credit balance on an Allocated Account.
