Nature of Assistance. The assistance to be provided may encompass where necessary: —

(a) An advance provided for one year sufficient to raise the applicant's estimated future income from all sources to the level of payment which would be applicable to the applicant if the applicant were eligible for unemployment benefits. An extension for a further two years may be allowed in those cases where the applicant has made a genuine effort to dispose of the applicant's productive assets at a market value acceptable to the State.
Nature of Assistance. An advance of $8,000 indexed to movements in the Consumer Price Index from 1 July 1985. The loan may be converted to a grant at any time by the State.
Nature of Assistance. On-going assistance provided over a 10 year period. Assistance will bridge the gap between agreed to market rents and what the clients can afford based on rent geared to income. Proponents will be required to enter into an agreement to ensure compliance with Program requirements.
Nature of Assistance. The tenant will not receive any direct subsidy; rather they will be only required to pay 20% of their gross income towards the lease of their unit.
