New Classes and Recognition. The Employer agrees that if any new Civil Service class designations should be established for the same work presently being performed by those classes identified in Section 1 of this ARTICLE, said new classes will be treated as part of the single negotiation unit recognized by this Agreement.

New Classes and Recognition. A classification title change will not remove employees from the bargaining unit as long as they are performing substantially the same work. Any new classification covering the same work will become part of the bargaining unit covered by this Agreement.
New Classes and Recognition. The Employer agrees that if any new or existing Civil Service class designations should be established for the same work or work which is substantially the same and is presently being performed by classes identified in Section 1 of this Article, said classes will be treated as part of the single negotiation unit recognized by this Agreement on the date the Illinois Educational Relations Board approves the certification. The Parties may mutually agree to bargain over the terms and conditions of the designation/position while the petition is pending at the Board before the petition has been approved.
New Classes and Recognition. The University agrees to incorporate into the recognized bargaining unit any new civil service classifications that are established by the Illinois State Universities Civil Service System to perform the same work that is presently being performed by any of the classifications identified within Section 1 of this Article.

The Parties shall meet within thirty (30) days of such notification as to the intent to abolish or change existing classifications and discuss the proposed action. c) When Local 308 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees is granted exclusive representation of a new employee group in accordance with 115 ILCS 5/1 et seq.and regulations of the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board, that group will become a part of this Master Contract between The Board of Trustees of the University of Illino is and Local #308 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees. Employees within a newly recognized group will continue on the Pay Plan which they were on prior to recognition, but the Employer and the Union will commence negotiations for new rates of compensation as defined in Section 1 of this ARTICLE of the contract.
