NEW EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING. Whenever new equipment or safety equipment is introduced in the department, employees responsible for the use or operation of said equipment shall be instructed thoroughly in the purpose of, and proper use of said equipment. Training sessions normally will not be held on Fridays.

NEW EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING. Coincidental with the decision to purchase new equipment or apply new technology which will significantly alter the work procedures of any employee’s job, the Company will notify the Union in writing. Within a further ten (10) days, the parties will meet to formulate the necessary training programs for those employees required to operate the new equipment or apply the new technology, none of whom will be laid off until they have been afforded the opportunity to be retrained. In the event that insufficient positions remain after the installation of the new equipment or the application of the new technology, then the Company will reduce the workforce as set out in Article 10 of this Collective Agreement.

  • Equipment and Tools 40.01 The Employer will make available all necessary tools and equipment it requires for the performance of work assignments at no cost to the employees. Such tools and equipment will remain the property of the Employer and the employees will be required to take reasonable care of this property and may be required to sign out certain equipment and tools.

  • New Equipment Where new types of equipment and/or operations, for which rates of pay are not established by this Agreement, are put into use after the ratification date of this Agreement within operations covered by this Agreement, rates governing such operations shall be subject to negotiations between the parties. This paragraph shall apply to all new types of equipment including office and clerical equipment. In the event an agreement cannot be reached within sixty (60) days after the date such equipment is put into use, the matter may shall be submitted to the National Grievance Committee for final disposition. Rates agreed upon or awarded shall be effective as of the date equipment is put to use

  • Electrical Equipment Residents must use only CSA, UL-approved or Canadian-certified electrical equipment; the rated wattage of light fixtures must never be exceeded; and only replacement bulbs supplied by Waterloo maintenance staff may be used. Do not leave any unattended electrical equipment turned on (i.e. hair straighteners, lights etc.)

  • Personnel Equipment and Material Engineer shall furnish and maintain, at its own expense, quarters for the performance of all Engineering Services, and adequate and sufficient personnel and equipment to perform the Engineering Services as required. All employees of Engineer shall have such knowledge and experience as will enable them to perform the duties assigned to them. Any employee of Engineer who, in the reasonable opinion of County, is incompetent or whose conduct becomes detrimental to the Engineering Services shall immediately be removed from association with the Project when so instructed by County. Engineer certifies that it presently has adequate qualified personnel in its employment for performance of the Engineering Services required under this Contract, or will obtain such personnel from sources other than County. Engineer may not change the Project Manager without prior written consent of County.

  • Equipment and Supplies Independent Contractor, at Independent Contractor's sole expense, shall provide all equipment, tools and supplies necessary to perform the Service.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE Each employee responding to or engaged in fire suppression activities will use the appropriate safety clothing and equipment. Each department is responsible for seeing that CAL/OSHA standards for safety clothing and equipment are provided and used for wildland firefighting. Wildland fire suppression safety clothing and equipment includes:  Safety helmet that meets the minimum standards required by California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 8, Section 3410  Goggles, protection that meets the minimum requirements for design, construction and use as required by CCR, Title 8, Sections 3382 and 3404.  Ear protection to comply with CCR Title 8 Sections 3405 and 3410(c)  Nomex hood, shroud, or equivalent face and neck protection  Nomex shirt  Nomex pants  Gloves, CAL/OSHA approved for wildland fire fighting  Safety work boots, heavy-duty, lace-type, with deeply lugged soles and heels, and leather tops at least eight inches in height.  Headlamps w/spare batteries  Chain saw chaps for chainsaw operator  Wildland fire shelter

  • Office Space, Equipment and Facilities Provide such office space, office equipment and office facilities as are adequate to fulfill the Adviser’s obligations hereunder.

  • Equipment and Materials CONTRACTOR shall provide all equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for the performance on the Agreement except:

  • All new supplies equipment and services shall include manufacturer's minimum standard warranty unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Vendor shall be legally permitted to sell all products offered for sale to TIPS Members. All goods proposed and sold shall be new unless clearly stated in writing. The Vendor shall provide timely and accurate customer support for orders to TIPS Members as agreed by the Parties. Vendors shall respond to such requests within a commercially reasonable time after receipt of the request. If support andƒor training is a line item sold or packaged with a sale, support shall be as agreed with the TIPS Member. Most TIPS Members are tax exempt and the related laws andƒor regulations of the controlling jurisdiction(s) of the TIPS Member shall apply. No assignment of Agreement may be made without the prior notification of TIPS. Written approval of TIPS shall not be unreasonably withheld. Payment for delivered goods and services can only be made to the awarded Vendor, Vendor designated reseller or vendor assigned company.

  • Equipment and Software To use the Mobile Remote Deposit Services, you must obtain and maintain at your expense, compatible equipment and software that we may specify from time to time.
