New Hires Experience Credit. During the hiring process, previous work experience will be considered in determining the appropriate step at which to place the newly hired employee. Work experience must be documented in writing and must be specifically related to the duties which the employee would be required to perform. Quality of the prior experience must be documented through the reference process. Experience credit will be determined under the formula set forth in section 16.3.

  • Experience Credit a. For the purpose of this article, a teacher teaching on call (TTOC) shall be credited with one (1) day of experience for each full-time equivalent day worked.
