No Break in Service Sample Clauses

No Break in Service. ‌ No absence under any paid leave provision of this Memorandum shall be considered as a break in service for any employee who is in paid status during each absence. All benefits which, under the provisions of the Memorandum, accrue to employees who are in paid status shall continue to accrue during such absence. A break in service is defined as occurring upon resignation or termination.

No Break in Service. The service of a Teacher with the School shall be deemed continuous notwithstanding the service has been interrupted by reason of the Teacher taking maternity leave (including paid and unpaid leave in accordance with clause 19 or other approved leave without pay) but the period during which the service is so interrupted shall not be taken into account in calculating the period of service.
