NO STRIKES-NO LOCK OUT. There shall be no strikes, sympathy strikes, picketing, work stoppages, slowdowns, hand billing, demonstrations or other disruptive activity on the Project Work for any reason by any Union or employee against the Design Build Contractor and Contractors or other employers. This Agreement, including the provisions of this Article, shall apply to all Project Work and any work that is not covered by this Agreement is not considered Project Work and shall not be covered by this provision of this Agreement. There shall be no lockout at the Project Site by the Design Build Contractor or any Contractor. Contractors and Affiliated Unions shall use their best efforts to ensure compliance with this Section and to ensure uninterrupted construction and the free flow of traffic in the Project area for the duration of this Agreement.
NO STRIKES-NO LOCK OUT. There shall be no strikes, sympathy strikes, picketing, work stoppages, slowdowns, hand billing, demonstrations or other disruptive activity at the Program Work site for any reason by any Union or employee against any Contractor or employer. There shall be no other Union, or concerted or employee activity which disrupts or interferes with the operation of the Program Work or the educational mission and objectives of the New York City public schools at any Program Work site. Failure of any Union or employee to cross any picket line established by any Union, signatory or non-signatory to this Agreement, or the picket or demonstration line of any other organization, at or in proximity to a Program Work site is a violation of this Article. Should any employees breach this provision, the Unions will use their best efforts to try to immediately end that breach and return all employees to work. There shall be no lockout at a Program Work site by any signatory Contractor.

There shall be no other Union, or concerted or employee activity which disrupts or interferes with the use of Lake Champlain Bridge and related service roads or the free flow of traffic thereon. Failure of any Union or employee to cross any picket line established by any union, signatory or non-signatory to this Agreement, or the picket or demonstration line of any other organization, at the Project site which otherwise adversely affects Project work or which disrupts or interferes with the use of Lake Champlain Bridge and related service roads or the free flow of traffic thereon is a violation of this Article. There shall be no lockout at the Project by any signatory Contractor. The Contractor and Unions shall take all steps necessary to ensure compliance with this Section and to ensure uninterrupted construction and the free flow of traffic over the Lake Champlain Bridge and related service roads for the duration of this Agreement.

In addition, failure of any Union or employee to cross any picket line established by any Union, signatory or non-signatory to this Agreement, or the picket or demonstration line of any other organization, at or in proximity to a Program Work site where the failure to cross disrupts or interferes with the operation of Program Work is a violation of this Article. Should any employees breach this provision, the Unions will use their best efforts to try to immediately end that breach and return all employees to work. There shall be no lockout at a Program Work site by any signatory Contractor, the Agency or a Construction Manager.

  • NO STRIKE, NO LOCK-OUT 19.01 There will be no strike or lock-out during the term of this Agreement. The Employer has the exclusive right to determine what merchandise will be carried in its store, except that the Employer agrees that, in the event of a legal strike in the plant of a supplier, it will not handle merchandise from such plant, provided however, that merchandise that was on the premises of the Employer or in transit to the Employer's premises at the time such legal strike commenced, will be handled. In the event of strikes, lock-outs or similar problems involving suppliers of goods or service, the Employer and the Union agree to meet and discuss such situation as it involves the parties to this Agreement, to endeavor to solve such problems in the best interest of the Employer, the Union and the employees, to the best of the abilities of the parties.

  • NO STRIKE OR LOCK-OUT There shall be no strike or lock-out during the term of this Collective Agreement. The terms “strike” and “lock-out” shall be as defined in the Ontario Labour Relations Act.

  • STRIKES AND LOCK-OUTS The Contractor shall forthwith notify the Engineer of the commencing of any strike or lock-out and the Engineer on account of any delay caused thereby may, after consultation with the Employer, grant such extension of time as he considers reasonable without prejudice to the right of the Employer to exercise after the expiration of such reasonable extension of time the rights and powers under these Conditions in case of default by the Contractor.   • STRIKES OR LOCK-OUTS During the term of this Collective Agreement the Union agrees that there shall be no strike and the Employer agrees that there shall be no lock-out. Subject to any Labour Relations Board (or any succeeding body) directives, if an employee employed under the terms of this Collective Agreement refuses in good conscience to cross a legal picket line, the employee shall be considered to be absent without pay, and it shall not be considered a violation of this Agreement nor shall it be grounds for disciplinary action.
