Common use of Non-emergency Overtime Clause in Contracts

Non-emergency Overtime. For the purposes of this contract, non-emergency overtime shall be prearranged, with at least twelve (12) hours’ notice given or an extension of the regularly scheduled day in order to maintain required staffing or for situations not covered under D. of this Article. All non-emergency overtime shall be distributed and rotated equally among employees, for the position to be filled, to the extent possible, as tracked by the Fire Time Tracking System.
