Non-teaching Pay Grade Assignments. During the term of the agreement the parties shall establish a Joint Committee to study and make recommendations regarding the assignments of pay grades to non-teaching professional positions based upon qualifications, responsibilities, job scope, and other factors. Such recommendations, if mutually acceptable to the parties to this agreement, may be implemented at any time. This committee shall consist of three (3) members appointed by the President of the Association, and three (3) members appointed by the College President. College Software and systems All members of the bargaining unit must utilize the software, online systems, and technological solutions offered by the college for tasks associated with student communication, advising, and instruction, and all other college-related business and work activities. This encompasses, but is not restricted to, the college’s authorized email system, the college student information system (SIS), the learning management system (LMS), the case management system (CMS) and the client relations management system (CRM).

  • SPECIAL TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS A. Assignments for the Adult Education, Driver Education and Summer School Program will be made by the Board on the basis of preference to teachers possessing permanent teaching certificates regularly employed in the district during the normal school year.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.

  • Teaching Assignment All actively employed teachers will be notified no later than June 30 of their tentative class and/or subject assignment for the forthcoming year. Changes in assignment made after August 15 will be made only after a conference with the teacher provided the teacher is readily available for such a conference.   • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.
