Notice and Education of Employees Regarding Drug and Alcohol. Testing All employees will be informed of the Department of Fire & Rescue Operations' drug and alcohol testing Policy before testing is administered. Employees will be provided with information concerning the impact of the use of drugs and alcohol on job performance. In addition, the employer will inform the employees of the manner in which the tests are conducted, the reliability of the tests performed, under what circumstances employees will be subject to testing, what the tests can determine, and the consequences of testing positive for illegal drug use or being alcohol-impaired on duty. All newly promoted Chiefs will be provided with this information when initially promoted. No employee shall be tested until this information has been provided.

  • Notification of Employees A. Written notice of layoff shall be given to an employee or sent by mail to the last known mailing address at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the effective date of the layoff.   • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Section 1. The Employer agrees to provide to the Union the statistical and program evaluation information provided to management concerning Employee Assistance Program(s).

  • Public Employees Retirement System “PERS”) Members. For purposes of this Section 1, “employee” means an employee who is employed by the State on August 28, 2003 and who is eligible to receive benefits under ORS Chapter 238 for service with the State pursuant to Section 2 of Chapter 733, Oregon Laws 2003.

  • Fingerprinting of Employees The Fingerprinting/Criminal Background Investigation Certification must be completed and attached to this Agreement prior to Consultant’s performing of any portion of the Services.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.
