Common use of Notice of Hours of Work Clause in Contracts

Notice of Hours of Work. Except in emergencies, regular employees' hours of work schedule, in appropriate categories, will not be changed except by mutual consent at the location level, or upon forty-eight (48) hours written notice. If forty-eight (48) hours written notice is not given, all time worked outside the hours of work schedule will be paid at the appropriate overtime rate.
