Notice of Re-opening. This agreement may be opened for collective bargaining as to changes as follows: Either party desiring any changes shall mail to the other party notice in writing, by registered mail, on or after March 1, 2017, but in any event not later than midnight June 30, 2017, that a change is desired, and if no such notice is given by either party on or after the said March 1 and before the said June 30, the earliest time at which such notice may be given by either party is the corresponding period in the following year. All notices given under the provisions herein on behalf of the Union shall be given by the president of the Union (or his representative) and similarly notices on behalf of the Company shall be given by the president of the Company (or his representative).

Notice of Re-opening. (a) This agreement may be opened for collective bargaining by either party giving written notice to the other party on or after April 1, 2025. (b) Where no notice is given by either party prior to May 1, 2025, both parties shall be deemed to have given notice under this clause on May 1, 2025. (c) All notices on behalf of the Union shall be given by the President of the Union and similar notices on behalf of the Employer shall be given by the President of CUPE Local 951.

Such notice shall be mailed at least thirty (30) days prior to the record date therein specified, or if no record date shall have been specified therein, at least thirty (30) days prior to such specified date, provided, however, failure to provide any such notice shall not affect the validity of such transaction.
