Common use of Notice of Recall Clause in Contracts

Notice of Recall. Where an employee is notified at the time of layoff when he/she is to report back to work, he/she will promptly report at such time without further notice. When an employee is not notified at the time of layoff when he/she is to report back to work, he/she shall be given three (3) days notice of when to report back to work, if the period of layoff has been less than fourteen (14) days. If the layoff period extends for fourteen (14) days or more, the employee shall be given seven (7) days notice of the time to report back to work.
