Notwithstanding clause 14. 8.1, no family needs leaves will be granted to teachers during the two (2) days immediately preceding and following Christmas vacation, Easter vacation, spring break, and summer vacation.
Notwithstanding clause 14. 8.1 or 14.8.3 no family needs leaves can be attached to personal leave days or any other leaves.
Notwithstanding clause 14. (a) approved leaves of this nature shall be to a maximum of three (3) years over the course of employment with the School Division.
Notwithstanding clause 14. 1.1 a teacher may take up to 12 weeks of maternity leave prior to the estimated date of birth. This period of leave will be deducted from the period of maternity leave that would otherwise be available after the birth.
Notwithstanding clause 14. 1.1.2 the Employer shall grant one (1) day for the funeral of a friend of the family or to act as a pallbearer.
Notwithstanding clause 14. 1.3, teachers returning from maternity or adoption leaves at a later date satisfactory to both parties shall be returned to the position held at the commencement of the leave.
Notwithstanding clause 14. 12 in the first two (2) weeks of the leave a teacher may give two (2) days’ notice to return to work and after the first two (2) weeks of leave, the teacher will provide a minimum of four (4) school weeks’ notice in writing of the day upon which the teacher intends to return to work.
Notwithstanding clause 14. 2.1, a Party may make an announcement with respect to this Agreement, the transactions contemplated hereby, or any ancillary matter if required by any Law or Order to which that Party is subject, provided that any such announcement shall be made by such Party only after consultation with the other Parties.
Notwithstanding clause 14. 4.1, this Article shall not apply to a teacher charged with any offence or to a teacher bringing action against the School Division.
Notwithstanding clause 14. Buyer may Dispose of the whole or any part of its rights and obligations under this Agreement to any Related Corporation. Such right of assignment may only be exercised subject to prior written notice to the Sellers.
