The Parties agree that it is in their mutual interest to ensure that any remaining issues regarding the implementation of the Online Incident Reporting Tool described in Memorandum SB06, dated April 19, 2018 (“Memorandum SB06”) are addressed at the earliest available opportunity. To that end, by no later than September 30, 2020 each School Board and OSSTF local will meet, with the assistance of the Joint Health and Safety Committee as necessary, to review the reporting tool implemented by the School Board to ensure that it is consistent with Memorandum SB06. If the Parties agree that the reporting tool implemented by the Board is consistent with Memorandum SB06, they will then consult regarding training for the new reporting tool in accordance with LOA #7 (Half Day of Violence Prevention Training). The Board will ensure that those who were unable to attend the Half Day of Violence Prevention Training will also have an opportunity to receive training for the new reporting tool. Any disagreement as to whether the reporting tool implemented by the Board is consistent with Memorandum SB06, will be referred to the Central Labour Relations Committee (CLRC) by no later than October 15, 2020. If the CLRC determines that the reporting tool implemented by a School Board is not consistent with Memorandum SB06, it will advise the relevant School Board(s) of any remaining issues relating to the implementation of the reporting tool by no later than November 1, 2020.
