OTHER SAFETY MEASURES. (1) The Contractor shall take all reasonable precautions and select appropriate tools, equipment and installation methods to avoid causing a nuisance arising from his operations and shall minimize inconvenience to the public.
(2) The Contractor shall prevent dust from rising as a result of his activities and shall take all necessary dust control and suppression measures.
(3) All Contractor's Equipment used on the Agreement shall be fitted with a means of suppressing radio and television interference and shall be operated and maintained in such manner so as to minimize the emission of smoke and obnoxious fumes.
(4) The Contractor shall be responsible for the security of the Site at all times during the term of this Agreement. The Contractor shall control all entry and exit to and from the Site for his personnel, personnel from the Authority, Engineer, Sub-Contractors and suppliers, by pedestrians and for all vehicles. All of the Contractor’s personnel shall be required to carry an identity /security card or pass which provides a positive photo identification and they shall be required to show the pass when entering or leaving the Site. This shall apply to all personnel on the Site including, but not limited to, the Contractor’s staff, Sub-Contractor staff, Suppliers, Consultants, etc. and the staff of the Authority and Engineer. Provision shall be made for issue of visitors’ passes for other personnel authorized to enter the Site as visitors. Visitors on Site shall be escorted by appropriate Site based personnel at all times.
(5) The Contractor is reminded that, the tracks will be running and OHE system will be energized at all times and the additional precautions for the safety of staff and co-ordination of activities shall be anticipated. Request for traffic and or Power Blocks should be submitted to railways at appropriate time prior to commencing of work in proximity of the track and or OHE system.
(6) The Contractor shall be deemed to have made allowance in his price and programme for the impact on the Works as a result of any delay due to the provision of access to, and through the site generally, for relocation of temporary works, provision of security, lighting, signage, barriers, track work crossings, complying with all government and local authority regulations, etc.
OTHER SAFETY MEASURES. All personnel of the Contractor working within the site shall be provided with safety helmets. All welders shall wear welding goggles while doing welding work and all metal workers shall be provided with safety gloves. Persons employed on metal cutting and grinding shall wear safety glasses.
OTHER SAFETY MEASURES. This waste shall be carried to final disposal in accordance with the requirements from the competent authorities. To prevent any contamination due to removing one or more layers of the combination packaging when offered for final disposal, the outer packaging shall not be opened. Before loading the package into the transport unit, the packer, the consignor and the loader must ensure that the package is properly closed to prevent the release of any material during carriage. The carrier must have a written spill response plan that includes provisions for the decontamination of spilled materials and be in possession of the necessary personal protective equipment. He must respond to any release or suspected release from a package that occurs during carriage. The response must include complete removal of any spilled material and decontamination of the release site, vehicle surfaces and external surfaces of the package involved. Each vehicle used under the terms of this Agreement must be decontaminated prior to subsequent loading in accordance with the applicable federal, regional or local requirements. The carrier is not allowed to carry any other dangerous goods as a load in the same transport unit, with the exception of UN 3291, together with UN2814, as defined under this Agreement. Packagings are not allowed to be stacked. After loading the dangerous goods under the terms of this Agreement, the driver shall drive to the final disposal facility in a single transport operation, without intermediate stops. Intermediate stops are however authorized as long as the vehicle is supervised at all times.
OTHER SAFETY MEASURES. Macy’s will provide face masks for each colleague on duty. Colleagues will be provided four (4) cloth (reusable) faces masks upon their return. As noted above, in the event the colleague’s mask gets damage during the colleague’s working shift, the colleague will be able to exchange the damaged mask for a replacement The masks will meet the CDC guidelines and will be worn at all times while at work. The colleague is expected to retain, clean and reuse the masks for one month (1 mask per week). At the beginning of the following month, the colleague will receive a new set of masks. This process will continue until further notice. The Company will advise the Union prior to implementing the change. • The Company in order to practice social distancing and keep associates safer plans to temporarily suspend suit-fitting and measuring services in the Men’s department. In addition, Men’s dress shirts will not be available to try on in the store. Similarly, fitting will also be suspended in the Intimate Apparel department. • ▇▇▇▇’▇ plans to temporarily suspend personalized shoe fittings in the Men’s and Women’s shoes departments.
