Outdoor Education Programs. 15.2.1 Unit members participating in District-approved outdoor/ environmental education programs shall earn one-half day of compensatory time for each night spent in residence during the program. Such compensatory time shall be available for unit members to use at their discretion during the school year, except that it may not be used during the last week of the school year. Any member who has earned compensatory time through participation in outdoor/environment education programs may elect to receive pay for all compensatory time hours earned, at the Certificated Hourly Rate, per §14.5.1, in lieu of taking earned compensatory time.
