Overtime Call List. Overtime calls shall be made in accordance with Side Letter #1 attached to and made a part of this MOA. When it becomes necessary to finish a job that has been started during their regularly scheduled shift and not completed therein, the employee starting the work may be permitted to finish it without calling an employee from the overtime list, provided said employee is not worked in excess of three hours, and receives Supervisory approval prior to working any excess time. Overtime worked will not count towards placement on the overtime list.

Overtime Call List. Scheduled overtime will be distributed by seniority order rotating first in, first out basis: 1. The District will maintain separate lists for Control Center Technicians and Code Compliance Inspectors who desire to work overtime. The lists will be maintained online at the NCTD scheduling software applications and will be constructed in Seniority order. When an employee is added to the list(s), they will be placed in their appropriate Seniority position for the subsequent month. 2. The District will contact the first employee on the list to accept an overtime position. If the employee accepts, refuses, or doesn’t respond, then the employee will go to the bottom of the list until they rotate back to the top. All subsequent work will be filled in the same manner (rotating first in, first out basis). 3.   • Overtime for Part-Time Employees ‌ (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Hours Except as otherwise provided in this section, all hours worked in excess of the established work day, before or after an employee's regular scheduled shift, or on any regularly scheduled day off, shall be considered overtime. All paid vacation time, paid holidays, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, and paid leaves of absence shall be considered as "time worked" for purposes of this Article. Part-time employees whose established work day is less than eight (8) hours shall not be considered to be working overtime until having completed eight (8) hours of work.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week for full-time employees covered by this Agreement shall be forty (40) hours, exclusive of the time allotted for meal periods, consisting of five (5) consecutive work days followed by two (2) consecutive days off. The week shall commence with the shift that includes 12:01 A.M. Sunday of each calendar week and end at the start of the shift that includes 12:00 midnight the following Saturday. The Employer retains the right to modify the work schedules to meet operational needs.

  • Work Hours Except in emergencies, the standard work week of full-time unit employees shall normally consist of five (5) days of eight (8) hours each, exclusive of lunch hour. Each employee shall be assigned regular starting and ending times, which shall not be changed without prior notice. Should an employee be required to work during his/her lunch hour, the length of such interruption shall be counted as time worked unless other arrangements are made with his/her supervisor.
