Common use of Overtime Meal Allowance Clause in Contracts

Overtime Meal Allowance. (a) When an employee is required to work in excess of two and one-half (2½) hours overtime immediately before or after completion of his/her scheduled daily hours, he/she shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed with an overtime meal allowance, and a meal break of one-half (½) hour with pay will be given.
