Paid Parental Leave (Adoption. Upon the adoption of a child, an employee shall, upon application to the appropriate Xxxx or Director, be entitled to 3 days paid parental leave. Such leave shall be charged against the employee's sick leave credits to the extent said credits will accommodate. An employee applying for adoption leave must furnish proof of legal adoption of a child. Where both parents are employees under the terms of this Agreement, only one employee shall be entitled to leave under the provisions of this Article.
