Part-time Maintenance Employee. Any part-time employee hired by the employer to perform facility, equipment and light vehicle maintenance or any cleaning and related tasks as determined by the employer. It is recognized by the union that a maintenance employee may perform intermittent driving duties. This employee will typically work twenty nine and one half hours, or less, per week and not be required, or allowed, to participate in the bidding process.

Part-time Maintenance Employee. It is the intention of the Company to hire a part time ticketed maintenance employee. Hours of work for this position will depend on maintenance requirements however hours worked will not exceed 30 hours in a work week. The foregoing does not constitute a guarantee of hours. The Company will determine the number of scheduled hours of work. This individual is not subject to layoff by seniority as a result of reduced production requirements provided that the work he will be preforming during the layoff period is related to maintenance.
