Pay for Holidays When Worked. When an employee works on a holiday covered by this section, he shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1½) times his straight time hourly rate for the first five (5) hours and double (X2) time thereafter, in addition to the holiday pay. If an employee agrees to work on such a holiday and fails to report for work on that day, he shall forfeit the holiday pay unless reasonable cause exist.
