  • Leave Without Pay for Relocation of Spouse (a) At the request of an employee, leave without pay for a period of up to one (1) year shall be granted to an employee whose spouse is permanently relocated and up to five (5) years to an employee whose spouse is temporarily relocated.

  • Time Off for Elections Employees shall be allowed four (4) consecutive hours off before the closing of the polls in any Federal, Provincial, or Municipal election or referendum.

  • Purchase Entirely for Own Account The Securities to be received by such Investor hereunder will be acquired for such Investor’s own account, not as nominee or agent, and not with a view to the resale or distribution of any part thereof in violation of the 1933 Act, and such Investor has no present intention of selling, granting any participation in, or otherwise distributing the same in violation of the 1933 Act without prejudice, however, to such Investor’s right at all times to sell or otherwise dispose of all or any part of such Securities in compliance with applicable federal and state securities laws.   • Leave Without Pay for Personal Needs Leave without pay will be granted for personal needs, in the following manner:

  • Eligibility for Pay An employee granted military leave for emergency National Guard duty is entitled to receive regular University pay for a period not to exceed thirty (30) calendar days in any one (1) fiscal year. An employee is eligible for pay regardless of the length of University service, and such pay is in addition to any University payment for temporary military leave for active-duty training, extended military leave, and military leave for physical examinations.

  • Benefits for Retirees The Employer will continue payment of Extended Health, Semi-Private Health Care Coverage or equivalent for any employee from the date of early retirement to the age of sixty-five (65). However, the Employer will not continue payment of the Dental Plan or any other benefit plan, and employees will not be entitled to subscribe to same under any conditions.

  • Eligibility for Employer Contribution This section describes eligibility for an Employer Contribution toward the cost of coverage.

  • Eligibility for Payment a) i) Except in the case of a disability arising out of an accident, an employee shall be eligible to receive an amount of disability benefit in accordance with Section 3 hereof, for a period not exceeding 52 weeks for any one illness, beginning after three (3) continuous days from the commencement of the disability, or beginning on the first day of hospital confinement as a bed patient, if earlier.

  • Holiday Pay for Employees Laid Off An employee who is laid off at the close of business the day before a holiday who has worked not less than five (5) previous consecutive work days shall be paid for the holiday.

  • Disqualification of Former Employees GRANTEE is familiar with the provisions relating to the disqualification of former officers and employees of CITY in matters which are connected with former duties or official responsibilities as set forth in Chapter 12.10 of the San Xxxx Municipal Code (“Revolving Door Ordinance”). GRANTEE shall not utilize either directly or indirectly any officer, employee, or agent of GRANTEE to perform services under this AGREEMENT, if in the performance of such services, the officer, employee, or agent would be in violation of the Revolving Door Ordinance.
