Common use of Payment of Overtime Clause in Contracts

Payment of Overtime. (a) Subject to the provisions of this sub-clause, all work performed outside of the ordinary hours of any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first two hours and double time thereafter. (1) and 19(9) hereof. (b) (i) Work performed on Saturdays prior to 12.00 noon shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first two hours and double time thereafter.

Payment of Overtime. (1) . For the purposes of this subclause, ordinary hours shall mean the hours of work fixed by the employer in accordance with Subclauses 18.1, 18.2 and 19(9) 18.9 hereof. (b) (i) i.
