Payments and Benefits While on Workers’ Compensation Leave. While an employee is on a workers’ compensation leave and not on an alternate duty assignment, the following provisions will apply:

Payments and Benefits While on Workers’ Compensation Leave. Overtime calculations shall apply during the first week a work related injury occurs, on condition that the forty (40) hour work week has been previously satisfied (worked). The second week and thereafter when an employee is on workers’ compensation leave of absence and not on an alternative duty assignment, the employee will not be entitled to any call in, call back or court appearance pay. In addition, the following provisions will apply:

During the first seven (7) calendar days that an employee is off work on a workers’ compensation leave, the employer will pay the employee for all hours lost from their regular work schedule. These amounts will not be charged against accumulated sick leave.

  • Workers’ Compensation Coverage Consultant certifies that Consultant has qualified for workers’ compensation as required by the State of Oregon. Consultant shall provide the Owner, within ten (10) days after execution of this Agreement, a certificate of insurance evidencing coverage of all subject workers under Oregon’s workers’ compensation statutes. The insurance certificate and policy shall indicate that the policy shall not be terminated by the insurance carrier without thirty (30) days’ advance written notice to City. All agents or Consultants of Consultant shall maintain such insurance.
