Payments on Layoff. A. Upon layoff, an employee shall be paid for unused accrued vacation time up to a maximum of thirty (30) days. There shall be no pay for unused personal, sick or compensatory time. B. The Employer will give the affected employee no less than four (4) weeks notice (or pay in lieu of notice). C. Affected employees shall be paid (1) week of severance pay for every 6 full calendar months of service. Employees with less than one (1) year of service shall receive a minimum of two (2) weeks of severance. D. The Employer will also continue an affected employee's medical insurance for the period of notice (or pay in lieu of notice), any severance pay or vacation payout.
