PERFORMANCE STANDARDS / INDICATORS. The parties commit themselves to a process of continuous improvement and will adopt and adhere to the principles and practices of Quality Assurance. The primary role of performance indicators is to assist in the attainment of corporate goals in the interest of the customers, employees and Council in improving the quality of service. It is recognised that performance indicators are not an end in themselves, but are a means of identifying trends and gains in productivity and efficiency, and they enable the identification of areas where there is potential for further improvement. Performance indicators can only be developed with reference to clearly articulated corporate, departmental and work group objectives. Objectives have been developed through a consultative process and will be subject to periodic review. The parties agree that any necessary performance indicators will be established from time to time to enable any changes in performance, following initiatives under this Agreement, to be jointly monitored and reviewed. The parties recognise that various external factors such as the weather, legislative reviews and geographical features will impact on the Council’s performance and therefore the parties reserve the right to refer to other additional indicators when adopting future bargaining positions.

  • Performance Standard Contractor shall perform all work hereunder in a manner consistent with the level of competency and standard of care normally observed by a person practicing in Contractor's profession. County has relied upon the professional ability and training of Contractor as a material inducement to enter into this Agreement. Contractor hereby agrees to provide all services under this Agreement in accordance with generally accepted professional practices and standards of care, as well as the requirements of applicable federal, state and local laws, it being understood that acceptance of Contractor’s work by County shall not operate as a waiver or release. If County determines that any of Contractor's work is not in accordance with such level of competency and standard of care, County, in its sole discretion, shall have the right to do any or all of the following: (a) require Contractor to meet with County to review the quality of the work and resolve matters of concern; (b) require Contractor to repeat the work at no additional charge until it is satisfactory; (c) terminate this Agreement pursuant to the provisions of Article 4; or (d) pursue any and all other remedies at law or in equity.

  • Performance indicators and targets The purpose of the innovation performance indicators and targets is to assist the University and the Commonwealth in monitoring the University's progress against the Commonwealth's objectives and the University's strategies for innovation. The University will report principal performance information and aim to meet the innovation performance indicators and targets set out in the following tables.
