Personal Appearance and Conduct. It shall be the responsibility of all employees to represent the City to the public in a manner that shall be courteous, efficient, and helpful. a. Public relations shall be an integral part of each employee’s job. b. All employees shall be neat and clean in appearance, and shall conduct themselves in a manner which is appropriate for an employee in the public service. c. Employees shall be courteous, efficient, and helpful to everyone in their work and shall do the best job possible on every assignment.

Personal Appearance and Conduct. 4.1 All Staff will wear clothing appropriate to premises in which they are required to work. 4.2 UoA will provide sterile protective clothing and the Supplier will provide, at the Supplier’s expense, all other protective clothing as deemed necessary by UoA’s representative or, required by statute or regulation and in such conditions that put Staff membershealth or safety at risk. The Supplier will ensure that its Staff wear such clothing where appropriate. 4.3 When working in areas where food is handled or stored all Staff must ensure that they adopt standards of cleanliness appropriate to the environment. 4.4 No Staff member who is aware that he/she is suffering from infectious or contagious medical conditions including, but not limited to, influenza will work in UoA properties. 4.5 All Staff will at all times conduct themselves in a manner that is appropriate to the environment in which they are working and which is mindful of the sensitivities of UoA employees and members of the public (e.g. Staff will not exhibit or practice racist, sexist or any other behaviour that might reasonably be considered offensive). 4.6 The removal by a Staff member of any property that is belonging to UoA or belonging to any UoA employee, sub- contractor, agent or student or any member of the public will result in that Staff member being refused further access to UoA premises. The Supplier may also take further action as it deems necessary and the Staff member may also face prosecution. 4.7 No Staff working on site at UoA will receive for any reason, directly or indirectly, a fee, reward, or gratuity from any student. Any Staff infringing this will be refused further access to UoA premises. 4.8 Whenever there is due cause to doubt the propriety of any proposed action or behaviour, the Staff member should seek prior approval from an appropriate UoA Staff member before proceeding.
Personal Appearance and Conduct. Section I: It is expected that each employee will be present a well groomed appearance at all times and that their dress will be appropriate for the position held and in conformance with their department dress code if any exist. Members of the public see employees as representing the County. Manners, attitude, personal grooming and appearance play an important role in formulating public opinion as to quality of seIVice. To that extent employees are expected to maintain a business like appearance at all times and in all ways conduct themselves in a polite and professional manner. Employees who report for work dressed or groomed in a manner which the department head believes to be inappropriate shall be sent home without pay until they comply with the dress and grooming code required by the Department Head.

They agree that subject to curriculum guidelines and appropriate supervision by the teacher’s evaluator, the responsibility for teaching all appropriate material rests with the teacher. D. No student’s grade shall be changed without a conference between the student’s teacher and the administrator. After the conference, the teacher will be notified, in writing, of the administrator’s decision. In the event the student’s teacher is not available for a conference, the administrator will notify the teacher in writing of any changes in a grade.

  • PERSONAL CONDUCT Executive agrees promptly and faithfully to comply with all present and future policies, requirements, directions, requests and rules and regulations of Company in connection with Company’s business. Executive further agrees to conform to all laws and regulations and not at any time to commit any act or become involved in any situation or occurrence tending to bring Company into public scandal, ridicule or which will reflect unfavorably on the reputation of Company.

  • General Conduct The BSC has specific policies governing conduct in the units, including, but not limited to, assault, harassment, sexual harassment, host, alcohol, party and substance abuse policies. Member agrees to read and abide by these policies. Failure to follow BSC conduct policies will lead to a range of sanctions up to and including termination of this contract and BSC membership.

  • Business Conduct Merger Sub was formed on December 3, 2020. Since its inception, Merger Sub has not engaged in any activity, other than such actions in connection with (a) its organization and (b) the preparation, negotiation and execution of this Agreement and the Transactions. Merger Sub has no operations, has not generated any revenues and has no liabilities other than those incurred in connection with the foregoing and in association with the Merger as provided in this Agreement.

  • Training and Professional Development 11.1 The Employer will develop and maintain an employee training and development plan and provide such plan to the Union upon request. Staff training is intended to provide an opportunity for classified staff employees for training sponsored by the University Training and Development and the UW Medical Centers Organizational Development and Training. Education/Professional Leave is intended to facilitate employee access to continuing education opportunities. Training and educational/professional leave may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing staff for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities within the framework of staff positions available at the University. 11.2 Any release time for training for employees accepted for such classes shall be in accordance with the Executive Order (currently No. 52) governing this matter. In the event that two or more employees request the same training period and supervision must limit the number of persons who may participate at one time due to work requirements, the selection will be made on a mutually agreeable basis within the department. 11.3 The training program is a proper subject for discussion by either departmental or University-wide Joint Union/Management Committees. 11.4 If the Employer requires an employee to receive training, reimbursement will be provided in accordance with the University travel rules. Employee attendance at Employer required training, either during or outside working hours, will be considered time worked and compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. 11.5 Employee attendance at training not required by the Employer and not covered by Executive Order 52, either on approved leave from or outside of working hours, will be voluntary and not considered time worked.

  • Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults The Supplier will comply with all applicable legislation and codes of practice, including, where applicable, all legislation and statutory guidance relevant to the safeguarding and protection of children and vulnerable adults and with the British Council’s Child Protection Policy, as notified to the Supplier and amended from time to time, which the Supplier acknowledges may include submitting to a check by the UK Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) or the equivalent local service; in addition, the Supplier will ensure that, where it engages any other party to supply any of the Services under this Agreement, that that party will also comply with the same requirements as if they were a party to this Agreement.

  • Insurance and Fingerprint Requirements Information Insurance If applicable and your staff will be on TIPS member premises for delivery, training or installation etc. and/or with an automobile, you must carry automobile insurance as required by law.
