PERSONAL CONDUCT. Executive agrees promptly and faithfully to comply with all present and future policies, requirements, directions, requests and rules and regulations of Company in connection with Company’s business. Executive further agrees to conform to all laws and regulations and not at any time to commit any act or become involved in any situation or occurrence tending to bring Company into public scandal, ridicule or which will reflect unfavorably on the reputation of Company.

PERSONAL CONDUCT. I understand that the responsibilities and circumstances of an off-campus internship may require a standard of professional decorum. Therefore, I indicate my willingness to understand and conform to the professional standards of the internship site. I further understand that it is important to the success of the present internship and continuance of further internships that interns observe standards of conduct that would not compromise Occidental College in the eyes of individuals and organizations with which it has dealings, and I acknowledge the Hameetman Career Center Director’s responsibility for setting rules and interpreting conduct for this purpose. I agree that should the internship agency or Hameetman Career Center Director decide that I must be terminated from my internship because of conduct that might bring the program into disrepute, or the internship into jeopardy, that decision will be final and may result in the loss of credit. I am aware of a number of potential risks inherent in my participation in this internship, all of which are beyond the control of Occidental College. I understand that these risks include, but are not limited to, risks arising from: ● Commuting to and from the placement site; ● Providing services to people who may become unpredictable, angry or violent; ● Exposure to communicable or infectious diseases, such as coronavirus disease (COVID-19), or toxic substances; ● Working in unfamiliar surroundings, neighborhoods or communities; ● Absence of means of communication in the community where I may travel ● Long distances that may separate me from emergency and law enforcement services I acknowledge that all risks cannot be prevented and some risks could result in loss or damage to my personal property or injury to my body, including death. I agree to assume those risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen, that are beyond the reasonable control of Occidental College. I expressly assume that the responsibility of educating myself to the risks that I shall be exposed to while in service, and I expressly assume all such risks, both known and unknown. Executive further agrees to comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to Executive’s employment with the Company. Executive hereby agrees not to engage in any activity that is in direct conflict with the essential interests of the Company or any of its Affiliates. Executive hereby acknowledges that nothing set forth in the Employee Handbook, Code of Ethical Conduct or Financial Code of Conduct or any other policy issued by the Company or Parent shall be deemed to create a separate contractual obligation, guarantee or inducement between Executive and the Company.

PERSONAL CONDUCT. 36.1.1 No employee shall accept appointment to the deputyship or assistantship of any county or state office or position, or otherwise incur an obligation of civil public service outside his or her regular municipal employment without first obtaining the recommendation of the head of his or her department and of the City Manager. 36.1.2 No employee shall be disciplined for off-the-job activities which do not affect his or her job performance. 36.1.3 Employees shall so arrange their personal financial affairs so that the demands of creditors and collection agencies shall not impose a recurring burden upon the offices of the City Manager, the department head, or the Director of Human Resources for the purpose of making collections. 36.1.4 Full-time City employees may not carry on concurrently with their public service any private business or undertaking, attention to which affects the time or quality of their work or which casts discredit upon or creates embarrassment for the City government. 36.1.5 No official or employee who wears a badge or other official insignia as evidence of his or her authority and identity shall permit such badge or insignia to be used or worn by any other person of the same or another department or otherwise to leave his possession without approval by the head of this department. The department head shall not grant such approval except as to persons regularly and formally appointed by the City Manager to the position designated by the badge or insignia.
PERSONAL CONDUCT. Conduct by anyone that is illegal, violent, dangerous, irresponsible or puts innocent victims at risk, or that is otherwise harmful or offensive, damages the reputation of others, or undercuts public respect and support for PLA, will not be tolerated. In the event of such conduct, PLA or Facility may request removal in their sole discretion. No refunds will be given in the event of such removal.

PERSONAL CONDUCT. I understand that the responsibilities and circumstances of an off-campus Program may require a standard of professional etiquette that may differ from that of Central Washington University. Therefore, I indicate my willingness to understand and conform to the professional standards of the Program site. In addition, I am in full understanding that the designated Program site has requirements which I must meet prior to starting at the Program site, and failure to provide such documentation may result in immediate cancellation of my Program experience. I agree to provide all site-required documentation to the Director of Career Services prior to starting my Program. I also further understand that it is important to the success of the present Program, and the continuance of future Programs, that interns observe standards of conduct that would not compromise Central Washington University in the eyes of individuals and organizations with which it has dealings. I acknowledge the responsibility of Central Washington University and its Associate Director of Career Services and the Professor involved in the Program to set rules and interpret conduct for this purpose. I agree that should Central Washington University and its Career Services Associate Director or the Professor of the Program decide that I must be terminated from my Program because of conduct that might bring the Program into disrepute or the Program site into jeopardy, that decision will be final and may result in the loss of academic credit.
