Common use of Personal Business Days Clause in Contracts

Personal Business Days. a. Full-time employees, will be allowed two (2) days leave without loss of wages to transact personal business. Personal business days may be used September through May on District Professional Development days, Parent/Teacher Conference days, and Snow days upon request. b. Arrangements for personal business leave will be made no later than 48 hours in advance through the employee’s supervisor. Upon approval, notice should also be given to the person in charge of payroll records for the office involved. c. One personal business day may be carried over to the following school year. No more than three (3) personal days may be used in a given school year.
