Personal Leave Chargeable to Sick Leave. Each eligible employee shall be permitted to be absent six (6) days each fiscal year for personal reasons and the days shall be charged against accrued sick leave. This leave shall be non-cumulative. Request for this personal leave shall be submitted through established procedures by the employee and approved or granted 24 hours in advance; provided, however, if the need for such leave is of a nature to make advance application impossible, such leave shall be authorized and granted if a prompt report and an adequate cause is made and shown to the proper authority.
