Common use of Personal Leave (Unpaid) Clause in Contracts

Personal Leave (Unpaid). If an employee has exhausted personal leave under this section, the Superintendent may consider a request for unpaid personal leave in emergency circumstances for urgent personal business that cannot be addressed outside of regular work hours. Such leave shall not be taken without prior approval by the Superintendent or designee in the event that the Superintendent is unavailable.
