Covered Persons Training All Covered Persons shall receive at least three hours of training during the first Reporting Period. Training may be completed in-person or online. These training requirements may be satisfied only by the completion of training courses that are submitted to OIG, prior to registration for the training course, for review and approval. At a minimum, the required training sessions must include the following topics:
Experts and witnesses An official of a requested authority may be authorized to appear, within the limitations of the authorization granted, as an expert or witness in judicial or administrative proceedings regarding the matters covered by this Chapter in the jurisdiction of the other Party, and produce such objects, documents, or authenticated copies thereof, as may be needed for the proceedings. The request for an appearance shall indicate specifically on what matters and by virtue of what title or qualification the official will be questioned.

Subpoenaed Witness For each day that the employee is compensated by the Crown, the employee shall be compensated by the Employer at $50.00 per day and by the Union at $50.00 per day up to a maximum of 4 calendar weeks or 20 working days. Persons Bound This Subscription Agreement shall, except as otherwise provided herein, inure to the benefit of and be binding on the Company and its successors and assigns and on each Subscriber and his respective heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns.
Casual Part-Time A nurse whose written letter of offer does not contain any guarantee of hours of work and who may be called to work as and where required. Casual part-time nurses may work for a fixed term or task not to exceed six (6) months. Casual nurses must make themselves available for a minimum of one (1) shift every three (3) months. Casual part-time nurses do not have access to the bumping and layoff provisions as per Article 6.04. Should a nurse accept a casual part-time position after retiring from the Region that nurse will not be required to fulfill a probationary period.
PARTIES AND PERSONS BOUND This Agreement shall be binding on the employer named in clause 1 of this agreement (hereinafter referred to as “the company”), the Construction, Forestry Mining and Energy Union, Victorian Building Unions Division and FEDFA Division (hereinafter referred to as “the union”) its officers and all employees of the company eligible to be members of the union.
Intermediaries a. Subject to Clause 15 if either party uses the services of an intermediary to transmit, log, store or process Messages, that party shall be responsible for any acts, failures or omissions by that intermediary in its provision of the said services as though they were his own acts, failures or omissions. The Authority shall be liable as between the Authority and the Contractor for any acts, failures or omissions of DECS in its provision of the services of an intermediary as though they were the acts, failures or omissions of the Authority.
