Level Two – Formal Grievance. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance, he/she may file a written grievance with his/her supervisor within ten (10) days following the informal meetings. This complaint shall set forth the grounds upon which the complaint is based and the reasons the decision is unacceptable. The supervisor shall render his/her decision in writing within five (5) days of receipt of the formal grievance.

Level Two – Formal Grievance. If the grievant is not satisfied with the informal disposition of the grievance, or if disposition is not made, the grievant may file a written grievance with the immediate supervisor within ten (10) workdays following receipt of the Level One disposition. The written grievance shall contain a clear and concise statement of the grievance, the informal disposition thereof and the reasons why the grievant considers the informal disposition unacceptable. Within ten (10) workdays of receipt of the written grievance, the immediate supervisor shall communicate his/her decision in writing to the grievant.

Level Two – Formal Grievance. A formal grievance must be filed with the immediate or applicable administrator within fifteen (15) days of the termination or conclusion of the Level One. For claims of payroll or other salary error, the 15 day time limit runs from discovery of the alleged error, but any recovery payment cannot relate back more than three years prior to the grievance filing.

  • Group Grievance Where a number of employees have identical grievances and each employee would be entitled to grieve separately they may present a group grievance in writing signed by each employee who is grieving to the Administrator or her designate within ten (10) days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance have occurred or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employee(s). The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step No. 1 and the applicable provisions of this Article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievance.

Reduction of the time limit shall be with mutual consent.
