Pharmacist. Whenever the Employer employs a Pharmacist either within a store or in a free standing drug store, such Pharmacist shall be covered by the terms of this Agreement as provided in Appendix F covering drug stores or drug departments and the signatory Employer shall become a party to such Appendix F.

Pharmacist. An individual licensed to dispense prescription drugs and who must act within the scope of a valid license for benefits to be payable. Pharmacy – Any licensed outlet in which prescription medications are regularly compounded and dispensed. When you enroll in the plan, you will automatically have prescription drug coverage. To take advantage of the prescription drug coverage, you must fill your prescription at an in-network pharmacy. Prescription formulary – The medications listed in the formulary are subject to change. The presence of a medication in the formulary does not guarantee that you will be prescribed that drug by your primary care physician or professional provider for a particular medical condition. Medications can be subject to prior authorization. As new generics become available, the corresponding brand name drug will no longer be considered a preferred agent. Prescription drug coverage – Coverage under a plan that helps pay for prescription drugs. If the plan’s formulary uses ”tiers” (levels), prescription drugs are grouped together by type or cost. The amount you’ll pay in cost sharing will be different for each ‘tier’ of covered prescription drugs. Prescription drugs – Drugs, biologicals, and compounded prescriptions approved by the FDA which can be dispensed only pursuant to a prescription order, and which by law must bear the Rx legend: “Caution-Federal law prohibits dispensing without a prescription;” or which are specifically designated by Samaritan Health Plans. Prescription eye drops – The plan will provide coverage for one early refill of prescription eye drops to treat glaucoma if all of the following criteria are met:
Pharmacist. “On-Call”. When there is only one (1) Pharmacist on duty, who has no relief, said Pharmacist shall be considered as “on-call” and he shall take a lunch period of not less than one-half (½) hour on the Employer’s time and shall not be called to perform any duties during this lunch period except in cases of emergency. Said one-half (½) hour lunch shall be scheduled within the eight (8) hour shift or in addition to said shift. Said lunch period shall not be counted toward daily or weekly overtime.
